The House

Welcome to the House of ZBT!!

The house for the Rho Iota Chapter of the Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity is located on-campus, in the middle of URI's Greek Life. 8 Fraternity Circle has been the home of ZBT since 2005. It's located next to the Chi Omega sorority and behind Weldin and Barlow Halls. ZBT is one of the newest houses on campus. It's the home of 45 brothers and the center of Rho Iota.

Besides the fact that the house is new and all the rooms are spacious, it may possibly be the coolest place to be. There are so many great benefits from living in the house. Living in the house provides all the comforts of home in a place where you can live and hang with your best friends. The chapter room is equipped with a big screen TV, ping pong table, pool table, poker table, and tons of comfortable couches. We have a fully functional kitchen for all your cooking needs. Our backyard is home to various sporting activities including softball and kickball. We host several cookouts and barbeques during warm months. In addition ZBT hosts ZBTahiti, an annual campus-wide tropical party at the house. A great outdoor feature of the house is our sand-filled volleyball court where you'll always find brothers playing.

"To live with your best friends is the best part of living in the house," says brother Pombo. "The brothers are always there! Whether it's to go eat at Butterfield, jam out on guitar, play volleyball, or just watch a movie... they're there for you. To get a group of brothers to go eat, all you have to do is yell 'FOOOOOOOD' down the hall, and five brothers will accompany you." If there's nothing going on, the hallways are always a fun place to be. On any given night you'll find brothers bowling, wrestling, playing golf or soccer in the hallway.

The house is great! There's nothing else like it.
